Shorthorn sires this year include a new AI sire, Polldale Neat, who looks to be producing very thick meaty progeny. Glenrossie Patent 18015 is a bull we kept and used lightly, out of a great line of cows. The bulls by him are eye catching boys, really stand out in the mob. Hinewaka Gold 71/18 we bought in 2020, he is a huge bull so if you're looking for size, there are some big genetics there. Browns Unique 10, Rough Ridge Enhance 9 and Longview Meatpacker 16062 round out the sires for the offering, all having produced bulls for previous sales.

Looking through the pedigrees of the bulls this year, I think it is the year of the cows, there are some outstanding dams in the catalogue this year, some really great cows from lines of great cows with excellent conformation, soundness and longevity. Super maternal strength in this line of bulls.

The registered Shorthorn bulls have Breedplan EBV's and I have included some raw data as well. Please bear in mind that you can use the raw data to compare Glenrossie bulls to Glenrossie bulls, not to any other bulls, Shorthorn or otherwise. Different studs weigh and scan their bulls at different times to us so make sure you are comparing apples with apples.
