The sale is over for another year. We had a reasonably good turnout with many repeat buyers and a few new ones there on the day. Thank you to everyone that came.

The weather co-operated at last with the day being cool but sunny. As usual, there was more than enough food, so everyone was warm and dry with a full belly.

The top priced bull at $7000 was Lot 1, sold to Alan Park of Corsock Shorthorns, Ongarue, King Country. We sold 13 of the 19 Beef Shorthorns offered for an average of $3950. The polled Santa Gertrudis proved popular and all three polled bulls sold for an average of $2970.
